Tools For Fools - Google Drive
Currently, we are HUGE fans of Google Drive! It seems like lately, we have consistently turned to Google Drive as the solution for many of our organization and data tracking needs.
Google Drive is more than just document storage, it gives you the ability to create and edit new documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in real time. It has great features, such as the option to open and view existing documents built outside of Google Drive without requiring the viewer to have the necessary software used to create the original document. Google Drive is also is mobile compatible; making editing on the go while staying up to date on any updates to a document a piece of cake.
For our team, the most compelling of its features is the ability to create, edit or view all changes as they happen in real time. There are often times when more than one person will need to be viewing and editing a document. For Google Drive, this is no problem at all. Multiple users can view and edit documents with out a file becoming corrupt or duplicates being unintentionally created.
The fact that Google Drive keeps our team all on the same page and equally up to date on the changes of a document with out ruining the document has made life a dream for our team. Click here to check it out.

Tools For Fools - Paperless Post
The Webconnex headquarters is buzzing like a beehive… Why, you ask? The Grand Opening of the new Webconnex Headquarters is just a few days away! Of course, we figured the grand opening, was the perfect excuse to throw a party!
When coordinating our Webconnex parties, we always turn to Paperless Post to send our invites. Paperless Post makes sending invites and managing guest lists a cinch. Not only is it extremely customizable, but also, if you choose to use a template, you are provided with quality options that fit every occasion.
When sending your invites you can specify a number of guests invited and also include a personal note to send to an individual, if you would like. Once you have sent out your invites Paperless Post allows you to keep a close eye on your guest lists by giving you the ability to see who has opened the invite/card as well as their RSVP (Attending, Regrets, not yet replied and undeliverable), edit a guest and see any comments shared. Paperless Post also gives you the option to export or print your guest list to a spreadsheet if you would like.

Tools For Fools - Tumblr
Choosing a blog platform can be a completely overwhelming and a daunting task. There are so many great platforms out there; it is hard to determine which is the best fit for you, your company and the purpose of your blog. We have found Tumblr to be the winner for Webconnex!
Tumblr seems to make blogging almost too easy! It is the perfect mix between a blog platform and a social media network. When posting to Tumblr, you are prompted to choose if your post will be text, photo, quote, link, chat, audio or video. This allows a blogger to not feel confined to producing lines and lines of blog content simply because that’s what you are 'supposed to do'.
Rather, you can quickly upload a picture or a video to keep your audience up to date (like social media) on the happenings of you or your company, just as you would on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. Instead of having to access each of your social networks to keep each of your audiences in the loop, Tumblr saves you oodles of time by integrating with social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter.
Tumblr also allows users to share the blog content of other users; which allows your blog to potentially reach many more people than it would on any average blog platform. If you are creating blog content that the users of Tumblr like, then they can become advocates for your blog! Pretty sweet, right?!

Tools For Fools - RingCentral
At Webconnex we use a long list of cloud-based software to streamline our day-to-day business. Despite all our snazzy technology, we can’t seem to escape from the good ol’ fashioned telephone, nor do we want to.
According to the customer support gurus over at Zendesk, 79% of customers still prefer to use the phone when contacting a company with questions. Knowing this, we choose to make ourselves easily available via phone. For us, this could be a challenge considering some of our team members work in different offices, from home, and sometimes from our Mobile Command Center. Luckily, there are companies like RingCentral that give us the flexibility to accept calls from just about anywhere!
RingCentral not only brings the old fashioned telephone up-to-date, it maximizes its capabilities with killer cloud-based features. Its seamless integration with smart phones allows us to answer calls from the office, a lunch meeting or even from a warm beach somewhere. Their call forwarding feature lets you answer your work calls from a cell phone, home phone or any other phone if necessary. Sounds ideal, right?!
Another one of our favorite features is the mobile app. The mobile app allows users to call out using the company’s number rather than displaying their personal cell phone number. This can help simplify things and prevent confusion while doing business while away from your desk.

If you’re like many event promoters we talk with, you have a great desire to improve your social media presence, but just can’t find the time. This is where BufferApp comes in!
