Navigating your new life on Berk was hard. All the tasks you were given were overwhelming and demanding. Even you were having a tough time having to deal with the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut, Snotlout was the absolute most obnoxious.
"Can you just shut up !!!!"
"Oh yeah, gonna run to hiccup ???. outsider"
Why was he such a jerk, you didn't do anything to him, you were just doing what you did. having tears in your eyes you bolted off. needing to be alone from everything.
"I hate it..."
Reaching a quiet spot away from everything, you just started to cry. Not even bothering if anyone could hear. You just needed to get it out.
Until you felt a nudge against your arm and heard a confused sad noise. it was toothless.
"Toothless ??"
You wiped your tears, looking up and saw him, he looked so concerned. Why were you sad, please don't be sad y/n. He gently started licking your cheek gently, hoping this would make you feel better.
"Thank you..."
He showed you his gummy smile again, making you smile. What he was doing was working. he then laid his head on your legs as you gently pet him.
"Thank you Toothless..."
He made a content noise, leaning into the pets and nuzzling his head into your hand. Toothless knew how to comfort his friends. He always knew what comforts them and how it helps.
"Good dragon.." You gently scratched behind his ear.
He made a purring-like noise, leaning more and more into the pets.
You didn't have your own dragon yet. But toothless was the best dragon ever.
