my moms pressuring me into getting a lawyer and fighting against this thru the media. shes all like wuhhh this is a hate crime bluhhh and i get it i Do and it Is but its just so awful and im literally So tired and So hungover

shes already in contact with q*eer rights activists and legal advocates apparently. thats cool but like im not too keen on her doing all this behind my back and this is just a lot of stress. but its also a rlly shitty thing that has happened. 5 days before the surgery, too.

again my surgeon wasnt notified of the cancellation of the surgery. thats very weird. they (the hospital) usually have to consult the surgeon before cancellation, not just call the person getting the top surgery and essentially tell them theyre a waste of medical resources. they ended the call before i could ask further questions.

the amount of like. legitimate heartache im feeling rn bc of top surgery being taken from me is hurting so bad. tmrw i wouldve been on the ferry going out to the island to get the surgery and its not Happening anymore bc the hospital is. garbage

im glad im not getting the surgery at that hospital though. not only is the hospital godawful toward native ppl, like moreso than the other island hospitals, but like. the doc that called me involved with my surgery said i was a waste of medical resources and like. idk that kinda sticks with you i guess lol

Can you list all the things you got? It'd maybe help you determine if there's anything you're missing. It could just be you being nervous, but there's no harm in checking.

neck pillow

mastectomy pillow

10 ft phone charger

food supplements + general food items

medicine/vitamins (tylenol + lozenges + laxatives + other stuff ill probably need post op)

headphones / sleep mask thing (4 sensory hell momence)

lotion / lip balm

cold pack + heating pad (for lower back pain n other generic body aching bc chronic pain + surgery is gonna be Fun /s)

i have a back scratcher, and things to help make showering easier while i cant use my arms. i also have roommates to help me reach things fhdjdh

i also rented a recliner chair (for sleep) for when i get home so i have a comfy place to snooze.

what im buying later this week:

slip on shoes

zip up hoodie / more comfy clothes

body wipes (bc no showering for a Little Bit)

dry shampoo (also bc no showering)

antibacterial pre-op soap

im sure im.missing something but idk what...
