(I'm sorry I'm not good at English, but this article is so great that I want to express my love through comments) I've always wondered what techno will do next and what dream will think. I think the process of dream of gradually liking techno will be bumpy. Will techno punish dream more excessively? Will they talk about golden blood again? If techno explains to him, can dream accepted? And I really like your psychological description of the characters! This allows us to feel the gradual change of their ideas. The golden blood will definitely be brought up again, it just might take awhile. And Dreams response to it? Depends on just how deep into Stockholm syndrome he is ;)).
The psychological description are both equally the hardest and most important part of this fic. I try to make sure that I put extra care in to writing them! I don’t want to rush things and make it seem unnatural or like I’m trying to skip to the good bits lmao. Both of them can be very stubborn when they want to be and Dreams fear of Techno and Techno’s general cluelessness around how to handle emotions definitely ends up slowing things down! I really hope the pacing makes sense, especially going into future chapters.

A: There will obviously be some different things between sally and dreams experiences (what with the time frames of when they where kidnapped, the advances in psychology, the different personalities of their kidnappers and the fact that Sally’s accepted her fate and grown to love it long ago)
But sally will definitely be someone Dream becomes close to first- seeing her as a guiding figure in what to expect and how to navigate things. Dream will be a breath of fresh air for sally- finally having someone to talk to about how scared she had been and to have those old feelings validated.
I plan for them to become each other’s safe place! With Sally taking on a kind of older sister role in Dreams new life! :DD

Q: Can I ask? What were the specific years or time periods did the Eternal Family come together or what time periods did the others join, like from Phil and Kirsten to Dream?
I am always happy to answer questions and get the chance to overshare! In the introductory lore for the sleepy bois family, I wrote:
‘started back during the birth of humanities first societies’
This is when sbi are granted their immortality and the entire story kicks off from. Starting with Philza and Kristin. From what I’ve researched, societies first started up around 3000BCE - 1500BCE. I like to think Philza and Kristin are at the beginning of that time frame while Techno is at the end of it.
Wilbur and Tommy are a package deal as far as I’m concerned and join the family together. I don’t really have a set time in which they join- more like I know that they joined before a certain time period because I want to leave clues that they may have been involved or the cause of old legends. This does mean that when exactly Wilbur and Tommy joined may be subject to changing- even if its not properly brought up in the fic itself lmao.
Sally! Hoo hoo ho! Sally! I do adore the lore I can use her for :DD. Sally is specifically tied to the lore behind one of Wilburs killing sprees, which means I have (as much as I can) specific years in which she joined!
Sally joined the family in 1891 :)
