hi alice! sorry to bother, i don't know if this has been answered before but how do you make your gifsets fit in the same canvas like post/659611440626450432 and post/656440607736201216? do you use a template for that? tysm in advance!!
hi! i'm actually not sure i've answered this before so now is as good as time as any!
i use a template in the sense that i use a specific set of dimensions for my gifs (listed here), make all the gifs separately and then open the finished gifs in PS (open as .gif, not .psd!). this method uses timeline mode, btw!
for the p&p set, each colour is split onto two canvasses: one with two gifs, one with four or five gifs, but the steps are the same. so these are the gifs i'm working with for the bigger canvas:
to add them all together, start with your first gif (in my case, the gif in the top left), click image > canvas size. change the width and height to the dimensions of your canvas, which in my case is 540 x 540. then click the arrow corresponding to the place you want to put your gif on the canvas, which for this first gif would be the top left arrow.
which gives us this:
select all your frames, click the little drop-down menu to the right on your timeline, and click copy frames.
now do the same process with your next gif, but when you go to the little drop-down menu again you select paste frames instead of copy frames. make sure it's set to "paste over selection" and then click OK.
once your two gifs are on the same canvas, select all frames again and copy them.
repeat these steps until you’ve put all your gifs onto the same canvas and then you’re done!
i hope this helps! let me know if anything is unclear 💕
which keywords do you usually use to get your aesthetic videos? any tips for that? thank you :)
Oh sure, I have many tips to find videos! But basically, you'll want to search for things like:
cinematic videos
travel vlogs
fashion films
Always include those exact terms in your search if you're not sure what to look for.
If you already have an idea for the aesthetic, colors, etc, your best friends will be music videos and movie trailers (historical films in particular have very good shots to gif).
Another great way is to search for [ model/actor you like + photoshoot ]
Don't be afraid to get creative with the search and keywords too (specific museums, castles, art restoration videos etc.). Big and small fashion or perfume companies usually produce very good footage as well (I recommend taking a look at the youtube channels of Zara, Dior, Chanel, Chloé, Repetto and Swarovsky).
There are some nice diy or lifestyle channels to follow that offer very aesthetically pleasing footage: Jordan Clark, TheCottageFairy, Rachel Maksy, Jonna Jinton and cozykitsune are the first that come to mind.
Finally, if you can't find anything on Youtube, you can use Pexels as last resort: they have a very good video category.

Hello, thank you so much 💖 and I don't mind but most of the layers are from @odairannies [gifpack #16, and i think it's the sleeping beauty one]. I deleted/adjusted some layers from this PSD and added a Hue/Saturation layer if I remember well. I hope this helps! 💖😊
