There is a song, The Dirt by Tor Miller, that I have been listening to recently. It is amazing, and I recommend everyone listen to it and feel the emotions portrayed within flow through you. The entire song encapsulates my emotions at this point in my life, but there is one specific line that has lodged itself in the back of my mind. I repeat it under my breath unknowingly, I hear it in the overheard conversations of others, it feels ever present and wholly impactful to me right now. The line is thus: “I’ll be loving you too, from your lips to the dirt they bury me down into.”
