Tormek Tuesday! People always ask what’s the “best angle” for my bowl gouge. I teach my students a 50 degree bevel with medium wings. This is what I use for all of my work because it has the perfect balance between sharpness and edge retention. My Tormek settings are 65/3/A. With the Woodturners Kit I can quickly, easily and consistently sharpen my gouges...this gives me much cleaner cuts and reduces the time I have to spend sanding.
