Can you all do me a solid and share this post to spread the word? As you all may know from my recent posts, a tornado touched down in Polk and McMinn counties on November 30th, killing 2 and injuring many others. A lot of people lost their homes and businesses.

Because of the constant coverage of the wildfire in Gatlinburg, the tornado stricken areas have not received much attention.

As of right now, my dad’s work is taking donations on the behalf of the United Way of McMinn and Meigs Counties. If you would like to donate clothes, food, water, and personal hygiene items to the victims of the tornado, please stop by the mobile Command Center at E&E Manufacturing in Athens, Tennessee. Their address is 2000 Tellico Avenue, Athens, TN 37303.

The Vilonia Police Department arrested two Morrilton residents, Tuesday night, for looting in a neighborhood left in destruction by the tornado. “They were caught stealing copper wire and compressors from air conditioners in Parkwood Subdivision at about 7 p.m.,” said Vilonia Chief of Police Brad McNew.

can you please sign this petition, FEMA is refusing to give help to tornado victims who have lost everything. These people have no homes and have lost virtually everything and cannot hope to rebuild their lives without the help of FEMA. FEMA has been a corrupt company with very low standards for some time and it is not fair to people who have nothing and need help. Isn't that FEMA's job ? Please help by signing this and reblogging? It's hard to imagine anything worse than losing your home and all your possessions to a natural disaster.

Showing that they have absolutely no conscience, some overseas craigslist scammers are using the tragic and deadly tornadoes in Oklahoma City last month as an opportunity to cash in on people who are just looking for shelter.

If you or someone you care about has recently been displaced due to the tornadoes in Oklahoma City, please follow some of our simple rules to avoid being scammed:

If the monthly payment seems to good to be true, it probably is

If the owner or agent is pushy and demands money before you've had a chance to meet in person, walk away

If the owner claims to be out of the country and unable to meet in person or send a surrogate, walk away

If the only option for payment is a wire, be very cautious
