I don’t let Flash Gordon roam about the backyard in the sunshine as much as I would like because he’s always  a big baby when I pick him up and bring him back inside

The sun sets on Bali Bay where the Turtle Conservancy and Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust work diligently to protect the Critically Endangered Ploughshare Tortoise (Astrochelys yniphora) from extinction. This is the last place where it occurs in the wild and it could easily be wiped out by poachers in the next few years.
