Canon EOS 250D Taken on 26/03/2022. Torre di Palme is a proud medieval village, built with a solid defensive system and perched on a rocky outcrop. Commanding a vast panorama over the deep blue sea and the gentle rolling hills, Torre di Palme is nicknamed 'the Balcony of the Marche'. On a clear day, you can even see as far as Mount Conero further up the Adriatic. It's well worth wandering in and out of the narrow alleys, decorated with an array of plants and flowers. Imagine the vibrant colours in spring time! One of the best balconies of the Marche can be found in the picturesque hill-top village of Torre di Palme, just 2km from the Adriatic coast. It comes as no surprise that this village is a magnet for weddings all year round. In fact, while I was there, three weddings were being arranged and final rehearsals were taking place!
