I arrived at the Grand Canyon just before sunset, there’s a long straight road in from the highway that with the speed restriction seems to take forever, only building up the anticipation. This was my first view down into the canyon. I felt like I was in a painting. Looking across & down it’s hard to describe the overriding realisation of how small we really are, taking in the depth & scale of this wonder of our world.
