it took a lot for her to finally curl up and fall asleep. after hours, upon hours of running around, throwing things about the apartment. it was a surprise that she hadn’t broken anything... yet. honestly, lian was surprised that jason was able to keep up with her, for the most part anyway. this is why most of her nannies had super powers of their own.

immediately she would flop down on his lap, her hands extending towards his face. attempting to grab his nose, or cup his cheeks in her hands. lian loved everyone that her father let her be around.

quietly, she would stifle a yawn as she stretched a little before curling up in his lap.         ❛      lian is sleepy, too.      ❜

     POINTED   gaze  weighs  heavy  as  palms  tilt  up  bruised  face,  hands  tender  in  their  ministrations,  encase  his  face  with  utmost  care ;  as  if  touching  something   FRAGILE   ,  able  to  be  broken .  she knew, of  course,  he  was  anything  but.  though  it  was  always  those  that  stood  the  tallest,  who  had  endured  the  worst,  that  deserved  the  most softness. 

flowered  fingertips  tangle  between  curled  tresses ,  soothing  as  golden  features  falter.  she  never  liked  seeing  him  HURT ;  though  it  lay  a   recurring  sight .    

❝  what trouble did you get into tonight ?  ❞    soft-spoken  syllables  meant  not  to  immediately  reproach,  though  disappointment  encroach  within  the  realm  of  good-natured  curiosity.
