Controversial MP Jared O'Mara spoke for the first time in the House of Commons since being elected.
When you consider what Tory MPs have done in the past 18 months, and that most of them didn’t even get investigated, you have to congratulate Labour for investigating something from 14 years ago - when Mr O’Mara was barely an adult - and giving him such a stiff punishment.
This is how it should be done. This is how MPs should be treated. Like every other person.
They can’t be sacked - that is up to the local members of the constituency - but when they do something wrong, the Party, or The Commons - should take it seriously.
Now - what about those Tory MPs, huh?

Davison is one of eight Tory MPs who have announced they will not stand at the next election. They will no doubt be followed by quite a few more. “We were elected to push through brexit which we did with glee. It now turns out we've been peddling a turd in poke and the hoi polloi can smell it, so, having wreaked havoc with the UK economy for decades to come, we're jumping ship.”
List of Conservatives who voted against amendment to force landlords to make properties habitable.
Tory MPs voted down the amendment to force all rented properties to be fit for human habitation and 71 of them were landlords.
I wonder how much taxpayer money is being saving from all these resignations
