It's funny thinking about that Bayonetta v Dante thing where all the Bayonetta fans were like "are you kidding me Umbran Climax/Serious Mode is way more OP than Devil Trigger is."

#it even has a healing factor and I think you can't die while in Umbran Climax #I headcanon that as being a thing related to how Balder is able to knock her out of serious mode in Bayo 1 #Fully awakened with all her memories back she's able to Umbran Climax more often and she's able to do it stronger #but she doesn't *stay* in it too long. Burns more magic doing it compared to before to ensure she's able to *stay* in it.#Aesir is not knocking her out of Serious Mode.#(Gameplay wise enemies also stop dodging when she's in umbran climax but obviously that's ridiculous)#Bayonetta's ability to seemingly endlessly summon boss level demons isn't really factored in.#Maybe Dante could win but I don't believe for a second he's taking down Madama Butterfly that easy #but also she doesn't use her summons like that. She summons limbs and such. In Bayo 1+2 at least.#She's able to rapidly summon and rapidly dismiss her demons #She can also summon more fists at once and much more quickly than the video acknowledged.#Like sorry Dante isn't blocking the full ppppp combo that easily. Or ppppk.#In fairness they make Bayonetta all but immune to most of Dante's shit. He just wins the endurance fight.#Though Bayo 3 puts in that she can get stabbed and heal it it's also kind of. Inconsistent on how durable she is.#Jeanne gets stabbed once and she's done in the same chapter that Luka stabs her and she heals it. Other Bayos go out pretty easy.#It makes sense to me that the health bar more or less represents a healing factor but also. Where was her bat within.#Witch time is also a constant that Bayonetta has.#Hard to say.#At the very least a quick look at the DMC bosses it's hard to see Bayonetta having even a slightly hard time taking them out #but that doesn't mean a Dante v Bayonetta fight would necessarily end in her favor #I don't think Dante could get out of Gomorrah as easily as he does that plant lady either though #toss up #Idk if Dante would have a problem with Bayo enemies. Seem higher class but it's hard to say.
