Luke would totally be the kind of guy that says he doesn't care about their baby's gender when he finds out rosa is pregnant, but deep down he's desperately hoping it'll be a girl

so let’s say a suspect who is of core importance to your case injured you on purpose because they found it offending how you see them as the perpetrator behind the situation, based on the evidence you and artem have found around the crime scene.

they only have acted through pure emotions ; they couldn’t handle the pressure building upon them. they took a broken glass shard and sliced your shoulder, leaving quite a deep wound in the aftermath. artem had witnessed all of this before his very eyes.

he immediately came to your aid as you stumbled your way towards a couch, pressing your palm over the now bleeding cut, to stop it from spilling everywhere. the first thing he asks is if you were alright, and regardless of your answer artem will call a medic to check up on you.

as for the suspect who left the cut, he is met with artem’s piercing glare, asking the police to take him away as quickly as possible. the case can be investigated later ; for now, you’re his number one priority.

artem watched with worrying eyes as the medic bandages the wound to prevent any more blood spillages. as soon as they’ve finished, he’s already dragging you to his car and driving you home.

on the way, he’d ask multiple questions, which most of them were ‘are you okay now ?’, and the like. it may not seem in the surface but artem is in a whole other world full of worry. you’re the first person he has ever loved in his entire life ; he could’ve lost you if the suspect had injured you much worse. he’s more than glad you’re fine now, having already treated your wounds.

even if you insist you’re okay the next day, he’ll still take away all of the work from your hands and become much more generous with your resting time. oh, and by the way, no need to worry over the suspect. artem’s already taking care of them.

… vyn richter

vyn was taking you home by walk since the cafe you both visited was nearby your apartment and there was no need to wave a taxi to drive you both home. you were awaiting the stoplight to give you the signal to start crossing the street on your way to the building.

the lights turned green for the crosswalk that gave you the signal to start moving. but right before you both could reach the opposite end of the sidewalk, a car coming in at a concerning speed from a distance soon came, the driver realizing it was too late, they pulled the brakes in a hurry as the car comes to an abrupt halt, yet still soothing the friction of the tires and the road.

vyn had seen this coming. the first thing he did was push his and your figures away from the line of the car, bracing for impact for what’s about to happen. he didn’t look like it, but vyn richter was scared. the worst case scenarios could possibly happen, leaving you or him dead in this very road.

you fell on your belly onto the cemented floor, with your lover following after as the car finally stopped. the sudden contact of the road texture left a few bruises onto your skin, some in which are actually bleeding. thankfully enough, you both weren’t hit by the speeding car, so things could have gotten much worse if it weren’t for vyn’s quick action.

your lover immediately got up onto his feet, ignoring any dust or dirt that may have gotten onto his attire to check up on you. he helped get you up, supporting your weight if ever you may stumble from the sudden impact. he spots the purpled bruises on your knees and arms, and checks if there were any more harm that has been done to you. his sigh of relief didn’t go unnoticed when he verified that nothing else has been done to you. just minor scrapes on your skin.

he soon brings you to your apartment where he treats them, rubbing disinfectant onto the scrapes and bandaging the much more serious ones. not much harm has been done to himself, so he doesn’t need much treatment. however, you on the other hand received the worse end of the accident, but soon your scars are already healing, thanks to vyn’s help.

next time, he’d always insist you to take a taxi despite the near distance between your locations. he doesn’t want you to experience getting into an accident again.
