Uhm... orb study. Yup, that was it.
When you're finally shown love/affection/appreciation from someone but you have a LOT of trust issues.
(Watching Major Payne with Big Cat. It reminds him of his years in JROTC and the time he got to watch this movie with a bunch of other cadets & was the only one laughing/enjoying the film; that's funny to imagine)
Add-on: at some point the deaf cadet starts a fight and, not thinking, I said "DANG! The deaf kid just threw hands!" and Big Cat was DYING
Today I had to do something I’ve only done during a training session like 5+ years ago, and it wasn’t working but we had the time to hammer it out, so I quickly looked it up.
The instructions: Ok, so you’re gonna wanna do exactly what you just did
Me: 😐 I mean it’s good that I was on the right track, but it’s still not working
Jane saying "dont think we are close enough for that anymore" after Maura is obsessively texting with a guy is totally not jealousy. No. No. She isnt in love with Maura.
whew!
@darcybuckydreamland ❤️. Sorry for singlethumbedly ruining your life 🤣❤️🤣. Oops!
Blake Raleigh
Blake wasn’t always a bad guy. He did some dumb stuff growing up, like joy riding in his parents car and blowing up mail boxes, but for the most part he was a good kid, even becoming sports captain in his final year.
At 18 he turned down a lucrative offer to play Aussie Rules professionally, instead pursuing his childhood dream of joining the Army. Blake being a fast learner, having a good work ethic, a natural affinity for physical based tasks and an ability to properly follow orders meant he did well, landing himself in a spec-ops team within a couple of years. For a while life was, as far as he was concerned, perfect.
Not long after Blake turned 25 his life as he knew it ended.
His near-supernatural ability to find almost anyone and anything he was searching for had attracted the wrong attention and after being stabbed and kicked out of the Army he was made an offer he was unable to refuse, because the alternative was so much worse.
For the most part he doesn’t hate what he does, because he enjoys the danger and the travel and hunting stuff down, but the things he’s asked to do don’t sit well with him. He tries to justify his actions, telling himself that for the most part he isn’t hurting anyone, and when he is sent after people they’re bad guys, but deep in his heart he knows he’s lying to himself.
The concequences of declining or failing a job are enough to keep him going, so he keeps his head down and does as he’s asked, even though it means he has a target on his back. It’s for this reason Blake doesn’t have friends anymore, and even lets his family think he’s dead. It’s easier that way. If he shuts down and refuses to have feelings, to care, or to let anyone in, then no one can be hurt because of him.
Instead he does his job, exercises, and occasionally drinks himself to sleep, resigned to the fact that short of dying he will never find a way out from under the control of his mysterious boss, only he can’t do that because dying has concequences too.
Regardless of how he feels about his actions, one thing is for certain. Blake will do whatever it takes to survive.
