In a scene from The Dark Knight Rises 2012 movie, Bane traps virtually every police officer in Gotham City in the sewers. All insane asylum patients and dangerous criminals are released. The Gotham elites who helped the antagonists were given two choices in kangaroo courts presided over by Jonathan Crane (aka Scarecrow): Abject humiliation in public, or exile onto the thin ice of a frozen lake.

Is America going to end up like this?: -Ignoring the recognized standards of law or justice -Total anarchy -Law enforcement officers unable to protect the law-abiding citizens -Both the mentally ill and dangerous criminals allowed to roam the streets Keep in mind: Unlike Gotham City, America doesn't have a Batman.
