spreadsheets completed during the creation of Totland include:
list of all evolving Pokemon, save starters, divided into game stages based on how soon they evolve
count of all non-unique Pokemon by type ("non-unique" meaning "occurs in the wild and you can catch more than one")
count of all towns in each region, with a function to calculate the median (it's 13, assuming you include Black/White 2 and exclude side games)
I have also narrowed my potential town names down to a shortlist of 32, which I'll be pulling from as I design towns rather than trying to narrow it any further
trying to decide if I need sheets of Pokemon distribution by generation or if I can just wing it with the knowledge I already have
currently recovering from COVID, which has put a huge damper on my ability to do anything but hyperfocus on nifty little creatures, and as a consequence I'm working on designing my own Pokemon region. it's called Totland and is about 80-90% desert. don't know what Pokemon are in it yet because I'm still working on spreadsheets
My husband took me to yet another place not far from where we live. It’s beautiful up there. And also: I would imagine even prettier in the summer.
And oh, we found some friends. 🐸
(If you wonder what Norwegian frogs sound like, turn up the sound).
