i apologize for taking a bit with this one. i’ve been trying to re-familiarize myself with BotW/TotK and Tottika’s vibe (and i’ve been so busy with trying to clean ughhhh). i remember him being a bit pushy in BotW, but desperate times call for desperate measures. but TotK makes everyone seem so much different. idk, when he’s off duty, i can see him being one of the chillest zoras to exist.
i will absolutely have to make a dating headcanon/imagine/fic soon!

trips to Zora’s Domain were always your favorite
from the hustle and bustle of the people that resided in it’s walls
to the quiet; serene atmosphere that surrounded them
it was time well spent
but the mornings…
god, were they beautiful
you take a stroll around the domain
the day for most having not even started yet
and there you see him
elbow propped on the railing of one of the staircases
eyes closed
you giggle to yourself
because he is OUT
you see another guard making their rounds
so you nudge the sleeping guard awake
he jolts up from the railing
eyes wide
looking at you
“Hylia, you’re a life saver…”
and that’s where your friendship begins
the months that follow are full of learning and laughs
and you’ll go out of your way to make him an energizing dish consisting of fish and rice
for the bit
and he’ll pretend to be annoyed
but deep down…
he’s falling
and he doesn’t even realize it
he’s so calm
except when it rains
he’ll hold an umbrella over you
keeping you mostly dry from the elements
but once you’re in a dry place
he’ll give you the biggest hug
umbrella or not, you’re getting drenched
he loves when you both get to spend time together doing mindless activities
or just chatting about the day you’ve both had
… or what Link and Sidon are up to (BotW reference anyone?)
he’s selfless
and so sweet
when he ultimately realizes his feelings, he’ll be a bit more touchy
he’d tell you how much he likes spending time with you
but he’d give it a little time before saying anything
he's absolutely more afraid of losing your friendship
you’d spend your time together like you usually do when he’s on guard duty
hanging out where he's stationed
just chatting away
and he’d ask if you’d want to do something out of the ordinary

You ever think about the fact that Kass alone has had more children in like, 5 years, than the wholeness of Zora’s Domain in 100 years lmao...
Please beloved Zoras you need to stop having so many crushes on Hylians and maybe f*ck your fellow fish people for a change please you’re going extinct.
Hilarious enough, Kodah is one of the Zora that has proposed to Link in the past, but also one of the few that had kids XD Her daughter (Finley) is one of the few Zora born after the Calamity. Laruta, Tumbo and Keye are the only other small Zora around.
There is also Dunma who we know for a fact was born after the Calamity but is old to be a guard... I’ll assume Tottika (and Torfeau?) being new Zora Guards and not having met Link in the past are probably around Dunma’s age too. Counting the 3 young Zora guards, the 3 children, and Finley the teen, that makes... 7 Zora born in the last 100 years...
For comparisson, there are currently 7 Rito kids born in the last 7 or so years (and 5 of them are Kass’s XD)
Maybe Mei, Gruve, Ledo and a couple of the other Zora that seems to be around Sidon’s age, might had been born not long after the Calamity??? The girls in Sidon’s fanclub could easily be around Dunma’s age since Dunma says the Zora that don’t talk all formal like Bazz and Rivan are really young. But that would still make it like, maybe 10-13 Zora born in the last 100 years.
This makes the fact that Mipha is so h0rny for Link in her diary all the funnier because apparently Mipha (and Kodah) had more h0rny energy than the rest of Zora’s Domain combined ahahahaha which is probably for the best since Really Longevous Race + Having Too Many Children = Not Good Balance

WIP2 shot of my progress so far on the Zoras. Still need to do the ‘captain’s armor’ version for Bazz. Wanted to get this up though before posting the next chapter of my story on AO3 for reasons...Stay tuned for new chapter later todays.
Still not happy with Rivan’s face yet I don’t think, might actually make Bazz’s arms more beefy, Gaddison is intended to have lady on abs muscles, Tottika is barely in existence. much more to be done along with keeping on top of my bloody fic.
