Touka x Kaneki x Hide Headcanons
Kaneki gets to date his 2 most important people, how cute is that???
I just love the idea of Kaneki the half-ghoul having one full ghoul girlfriend and one full human boyfriend.
Also has anyone else realized that both Touka and Hide are associated with rabbits?
Hide would have 2 badass ghoul partners to protect him. He’d probably wish he could brag over it.
In turn Hide hides their secrets and does everything he can to make it easier/less painful blending into human society.
Hide never pushes either of them about their ghoul sides or ghoul lives. But he pushes just enough to show that he is genuinely interested and not afraid of ghouls, and that he wants to know about that part of them and for them to not hide it. Especially once he realizes that both Kaneki and Touka hate being ghouls.
It would probably take Touka a very long time to trust Hide. She knows he’s Kaneki’s best friend but she’s still worried about him knowing her secret.
Hide ends up realizing that Touka has issues with self-love. Cue him telling her that he loves her, she’s beautiful, a great person, etc. Anything and everything that he feels she needs to hear. Always there to listen or lend a shoulder. Lots of surprise hugs out of no where. He also makes sure he knows just how much personal contact is too much for her.
Touka would be so overwhelmed and probably in denial of Hide’s love and acceptance at first. She’s never had that from a human before and hasn’t had any friends with that much physical contact before. It’s just so new to her, but she does like it.
Since Haise canonly learned to cook human food, imagine Kaneki and Hide working together to teach Touka to cook so she could make Yoriko food. Touka would be so grateful.
Both Kaneki and Touka feel guilty that they can’t take Hide out on dinner dates. Touka offers because she’s a lot better than Kaneki at keeping down human food, but Hide always denies and says he doesn’t want them to force themselves to eat it and he doesn’t want their dates to be fake. He’s perfectly fine eating alone or getting takeout. They end up having a lot of café dates to make up for no dinner dates.
Touka and Hide bond over rabbits and other small, cute animals.
Kagune cuddles. Lots of Kagune cuddles.
They’re all always there for each other and make sure to give a lot of love and cuddles when one of them is having a bad day.
They all sleep in the same bed but the order of who’s in the middle and who’s the big spoon always changes.
