I don’t know if I’ll ever finish this but here’s the flat colour of the promo I did a while ago. I rather enjoy showing off everyone’s colours, it’s nice to see how they mesh together.

Tourahn is one character that also hasn’t changed much design wise. I’ve really refined him over the years and I’ve tweaked his character arc along with it. He started as more of an antagonistic character but I think with the changes I’ve made I think people will enjoy his progression arc.
The outfit you see him in is actually Isontaro’s, but I’m not going to spoil why he’s wearing it for anyone who’s along for the journey. The sword he obtains in the third arc (I had a lot of fun writing that chapter).
Physique wise he’s one of the more unique looking characters due to his curse. The fade effect is only see on a couple of other characters. I kept his design fairly similar to Isontaro (considering they’re two halves of the same soul albeit both men change over time and become somewhat different people). Tourahn is slightly taller but his overall build is the same save for a couple of small stylistic choices (his face being the biggest difference).
He undergoes a couple of trials and tribulations during the second arc that makes the deep hue of his skin recede like the above. I’m undecided if I want to keep it spite the events of the third arc, I might - I really like both but I’m sure I’ll make a finalized decision once I get to that portion of the story (It’ll be a while before I get there).
Overall Tourahn is pretty solid, being one of the main characters within DIVE I can’t see myself making further changes. I’m quite happy with how he is currently.
I’m late posting these here, but this is what I whipped up to celebrate the holiday season and the start of a new decade. It’s hard to believe that 10 years has flown by so quickly!
Cheers to another!
Here’s another glance at my process for a piece. I never did get around to fully colouring this one, but I do enjoy how cute Toki and Tourahn turned out, I will gladly admit I love the hell outta these guys (I’m not telling anybody what happens to them though, you’ll have to read DIVE to find out... well when I finish the chapter covers and get the remainder of it posted for arc 1 at the least).
I’ve been drawing a lot of NSFW stuff lately so I decided to do something more tame for the time being. This is canon, I’m not going to spoil it however but Toki and Tourahn are still cute.
I will admit I had a little bit too much fun drawing this. Originally I planned it to be NSFW but I decided to change it afterwards simply to showcase Tourahn’s seductive charms (which are canon, Isontaro also has this ability at his disposal) and how they can afflict even the strongest of characters, even one with the same main element (in this case it’s Ivarhn).
The line art I included for fun just to also showcase the line work I did for this piece. Your lines don’t have to be perfect, it’s okay to be casual with your art on occasion. I used to be really hard on myself for it but it’s good to ease off.
