Weird & Wonderful Wednesday

So, Younghun, someone who has been given nanite treatment to cure his cancer, ah, well, suddenly disappears, then reappears in an instant. Whoops. He, and another man, Doctor Beeko also created a thinking android with an AI that can even do things like truly understand things like poetry. Younghun names him Panit after his husband. And, then, the disappearing happens. Is Younghun still Younghun, and, what do these nanites, and these sort of new nano humans mean for humanity, for technology, etc. etc.

If people were looking for a ton of plot, that was not really what this book seemed to be. This was a wicked hardcore character exploration, and, I really, really enjoyed it. The novel most definitely made me think too. It was a cool read.

I just finished reading Toward Eternity by Anton Hur.

It is not at all what I expected; it is so much more.

It is so beautiful it hurts. I have cried.

I have notes - a lot of notes. I hope to write something about it, but I need to let it sit for a few days. I need to sit.

For now, all you need to know are two things: it is about what it means to be human, and you need to read it.
