The deathcult of dads and the society of miners that kept that one mine boss' teeth are not the same group. I p much agree with all of your other points though, and while I'm not 100% on Mae's grandpa being with the cult (if he cared enough about the tooth's origins to keep it in a hidden safe, he probably held ideals similar to the secret society, which likely would not line up with the "conservative uncles" of the cult), I can't rule it out entirely either.
i see, i didn’t realize they are not the same group.
2 out of 3 possible phrases for mae’s grandpa on his deathbed was foreshadowing the cult somehow, so i just assumed he was either part of it or at least have some knowledge of it.

I am by no means an expert on anything involving computers and there's a good chance I'm entirely 100% wrong, but it sounds like your computer's CPU cooler might not be functioning properly. CPUs naturally get hella hot, and if your cooling unit isn't working the sound you might be hearing is your system fan freaking the fuck out as it tries to compensate for what your cooler isn't doing.The following shutdown is probably due to CPU reaching critical temps, if true.
