One of the most important and treasured items in my #vinylcollection , the sole album from #ToyMatinee; a band of heavy hitters, including Pat Leonard, Brian McCloud, Guy Pratt and the late, great Kevin Gilbert, this is one of the best produced albums of the last 40 years, which I would put on par with Steely Dan's "Aja" or Beach Boys "Pet Sounds". It's also one of the most mercurial pop albums, and veers from topic to topic in the most beautifully chaotic way (the apocalypse, Salvador Dali, a love lost to an Elvis impersonator, a tribute to Vaclav Pavel...etc).
