I didn’t know how much I needed a Jester hat until we had it sewn.
I have to admit I have no idea what I’m doing becuase I’ve never sent fan art to anyone before and this isn’t technically fanart. But… I figured out what I wanted to be for Halloween, and that was my favorite character, the one I wish I’d been clever enough to come up with.
Really, the Princess and the Jester is my favorite story pretty much ever, and I’ve learned a lot about how to draw simply by looking at your art. I wore it to a party, and didn’t talk once the entire time. I even got to wear it to work on Halloween, and I plan to wear it to a renaissance festival soon.
I’ve got to thank you for your wonderful stories, the amazing ongoing plot of TPoH, and especially the Duck Doodle Comics. Its all amazing, and inspired me towards something I’d like to do one day (write comics, that is.) My art needs major improvement, but practice makes perfect, after all, and your style and work has always impressed me to no end.
I’m going to hope there isn’t a character limit and ask two questions as well, as I’m not sure where else to ask them. Is Clip going to be continued eventually?
And, might you ever do a story on how the Jester came to his job and met the princess? Becuase if not, I may very well someday try my hand at a small fancomic, becuase the story behind those two is something that will stay with me for a long time :)
