Almost a year later update:

Im not as mad at botw anymore. I think im PRETTY MUCH over it?? Like unless i get swept into a tangent

The dlc did help a lot. Didnt fix the ending, but hhh fucking whatever i guess.

Im gonna try to be more positive towards it.

Just finished the botw dlc

I...have some conflicting emotions.

The storyline? Great. Brilliant. Fun challenges to work through, a good chunk of content, more backstory for the champos. I *finally* feel like I got a more full experience, one that the game was lacking without the dlc.

However, that is also a problem. It is extremely, EXTREMELY obvious that this content was not originally intended for DLC. This was most definatley originally just part of the regular game.

I can understand releasing it seperatley to avoid a delay, because, okay thats fair. The game was delayed sooo many times already, so release most of the project and include this later.

The problem is that they decided to charge for it. It should not have cost 20 dollars.

So im just...conflicted. less bitter than i WAS, I guess, but still a lil bitter over the experience.

See, this dlc is starting to mend my saltiness about this game a bit, but also not, BECAUSE:

Its suuuuuuuuuper obvious this dlc was intended to be included in the original game, but instead was taken out and put behind a $20 paywall
