Isabella thinks it’s an adorable idea for a game and helps out as much as she can, considering she’s never seen one in real life, only read about them in books. 

Emma eventually learned the difference between romantic and platonic love. But she’s not going to give up this marriage without a fight. Norman being shipped out hurt even more because he was her husband. and Ray’s suicide attempt too. 

Norman took the marriage seriously as well and it kept him going in Lambda.

Ray assumed Emma brushed it off as she got older. He thought wrong.
