Heaven Official’s Blessing should be a Videogame

I’m serious...

The whole setup is there from the world-building of almost modernizing the magic system as advanced tech (getting Houshin Engi ancient aliens vibe~ :3)

You can play one of two routes, pick your character!

Hua Cheng Route  (definitely a single-player linear main gameplay deal.  Like Final Fantasy X-2 with the costume spheres, except skin spheres)

Your divine boyfriend needs your help!  Win his love by becoming his #1 devotee.  Erect shrines in his honor and do good works in his name (side quests) to convert believers and level up your true love.

Unlock new skins to use different powers to beat the crap out of various ghost bosses and claim their territory and loot!  You gotta level up too if you want to look good in front of your boyfriend in Heaven.  Skins include:

Bridegroom:  Does absolutely nothing but increases affection with Xie Liang Chibi-fied:  Cute and very stylish tiny young master!  Attack and defense halved but can squeeze into tight spaces.  Raises money/merit drops.   Jailbait:  Underaged bishounen with crooked hair at your service.  Boosts luck for those critical hits.  Good all-rounder skin. Tall Dark and Handsome:  bishounen but balls have dropped.  Older, taller, and deeper voice compared to jailbait counterpart.  Has some special AOE moves. Wind Master:  get in touch with your feminine side with some crossdressing!  Increases speed. Demon King:  OP, can only be unlocked for 2nd playthrough.

Starting Stats: Weapon:  E’ming (lvl1) Equipment:  Crimson Umbrella (raises endurance), Silver Bracers (raises defense) Accessories:  Red String of Fate (increases luck? affection?), Boots

Xie Liang Route  (definitely a plot-driven openworld farming/resource management game, potential for multiplayer.  Could be single-player with a modern turn-base team fight system)

You’ve ascended heaven a 3rd time, can’t screw up now!  Descend to Earth with your swashbuckling, tsundere friends to level up your divine status.

Need more merits to buy divine equipment, erect more temples, etc?  Go check on Ling Wen for side quests to endear yourself to the mortals!  Chat with fellow Heavenly Officials (players) in the communication array (chatroom) and share merits.  But try to be civil.

Starting Stats: Weapon:  Fangxin (but you can collect a whole armory and swap out) Equipment:  Rouye (semi-ranged weapon but mostly shield) Accessories:  Straw Hat, Summoning Dice (acquired later, boosts luck & summons demon boyfriend support when limit break reached)
