Okay sooo, are we, as a fandom, simply not going to acknowledge the fact that this year's Halloween marked the 20th anniversary of Tōman vs. Walhalla, orrrr...?

I don't know why everybody want to the girl at the end was senju's twin sister. What if senju was a girl! If i see people disliking senju because it's a girl i will assume you are misogynist. Because being a furyo or a bozoku is not a male things, in early 2000 they were many gang with female only so please stop overreacting about senju being a girl. Yes maybe it was senju's sister but i believe it was senju and maybe senju is a girl. Please, tr fandom is awesome and i want to keep it like that. Be respectful. Thank you.
I love just how the TR fandom lose their shit when Liden Films released the info that Sanzu is 160cm tall, only for Liden to take it back and say that there was an error and that Sanzu's actual height is 172cm.
kinda sad TR community here / TR talk is like... almost absent. it’s been like that for a while
I guess many of the people who were here previously got busy / lost interest in tumblr (or even TR perhaps)
and I’m not one for the Poke forums because of the huge amount of crap and 95% of the talk resolving around “uh oh what kind of Pokemon who will get and when, or whether Ash wins the championship” TR being discussed only marginally and even then mostly voices of happiness or disappointment whether they appear next week or not
and then again I’m not a TR fan who mostly cares about representation dialogue, posting lgbt screens about them and overall NOT engaging in more complex talk/issues/canon discussion, so whatever TR activity has remained... has like nothing to do with me and my own may even look “scary” to some
such a lonely vigil
People will hop on social media and drop these super confident, super restrictive headcanons about Tokyo Revengers like they’re canon law, without doing even basic research. Then other folks just eat it up and repeat it. And for some dumbass reason it’s always disguised as “I’m just protecting the lore” or “That wouldn’t happen in the anime/manga”. Like okay, yeah some shit that people say makes no sense, but some of y’all be going too mf far! At least do a quick reread or check the character books before posting like your take is objective truth. The story has nuance, and Wakui left room for different interpretations. So I’m not saying people’s opinions or views are wrong but at least have the fucking sauce to back it up so it makes sense. Fanfiction and OCs exist to expand the universe, not shrink it into the most boring, gatekept version possible. If you don’t actually understand the story, the characters, or the themes Wakui wrote, maybe sit down instead of using your platform to gatekeep and spread misinformation. It’s not “protecting the lore,” it’s giving pick-me, “girls don’t belong in male spaces,” main character syndrome with a side of conservative brainrot. Some of the best TR content I’ve seen comes from creators who actually understand the characters and still make bold, well-developed male/female/nonbinary OCs who earn their place in the chaos. That’s how you get fresh dynamics, better tension, and more interesting stories. The beauty of Tokyo Revengers is how raw and layered it is. People who actually get it create fire OCs, explore deeper dynamics, and expand the world instead of shrinking it into the most boring, restrictive box possible. Meanwhile the loudest voices are out here acting like their half-baked headcanons are sacred text. If your entire contribution to the fandom is telling people their OCs are “nonsense” because they don’t fit your narrow view… maybe log off and touch some grass. To the creators actually cooking with well-written OCs that respect the source while adding something new, y’all keep eating. The rest of y’all need to do better. Research before you post. Stop embarrassing yourselves. Let people create.
Genuinely ts so irritatingggg 😭😭
I love being plagued by my tr ocs and then at best using them as minor plot device in my fics. Nobody knows them, my included because I still have lots of work to do (especially considering. The amount I have to flesh out) but on god they're incredible
