This is a project i spent a few months on back in the fall but due to a combination of reasons I consider them a failure. There were a lot of problems i ran into. There were a lot of areas i feel i messed up on in addition to some design flaws. Sometimes stuff you see in comics/tv/anime just dosnt translate well into real life. Im still hoping to finish up the feet that go with the leg sections here and do an out of con shoot at some point, but at the end of the day cosplay is about fun, and these are so cumbersome/painful to wear they preclude fun. To bring this cosplay to life was one of my dreams and to work ~5+ hours a day on it for several months to come up with a product I’m not happy with sux. Still, they were a learning experience and I have other stuff I have been working on that so far I’m pretty happy with!

Why are you agreeing with the governments twisted ideals?
Light up jet upgrade for my Kim Yun-Seong cosplay! I had to take a little artistic liberty here since the jets appear differently as the comic progresses and in order for the lights to be visible properly from normal viewing angles. Fortunatly no one reads this series so no one will notice ; )

Anyone ever heard of Trace? Probably not, is a kinda obscure korean webcomic! Still, iv been a big fan for a long time! This was something i attempted years ago but ended in failure, so when i got my hands on some warbla i decided to give it another shot. The mask is made of 2 layers of black warbla primed with spray plastidip. I used my own face (probably not something to try at home kids?) to mold it roughly to the shape of my face then cut off the excess to get the mask shape. The mask has 2 elastic loops attached inside on each side that go around my ears to hold it up since a full band around my head would interfere with my wig. I also got some screening to put behind the eye holes for a better effect. I can see out fairly well but at a distance you cant see in. For the design i went somewhere in between the design in the original trace comic and the sequel trace 2.0 design. I took the solid mouth line from the original and the lightning bolt like stripes from 2.0 rather then the straight ones in the original since they stand out a bit more i think.
