It’s been a long time since I’ve had to use the phrase. I’d say my grandfather before he past.

I regret not apologizing to her when I had the chance

6. How do you want to die?

I’ve never really given much thought to how I would die. I guess I would like to go peacefully in my sleep.

When I was younger. Now I never do.

A friend I’ve made since moving to Tokyo. I hope she comes back soon~.

No, I wouldn’t. There’s nothing I want to go back to. Instead I look to the future.

I miss a lot of people from my past. Especially my friends from senior high. I wish we could’ve kept in touch.

I’ve never cried in front of anyone. I don’t like to.

Write in my journal.

Balmy summer weather, with the air heavy and humid. Like Okinawa in July.

Not at all.

I’d die for anyone I care about. Especially those I consider my family.

Evenings in Mari’s neighborhood were always the best. The sky was covered in a thick blanket of clouds, with the sky painting the background a beautiful arrangement of purple, orange, and red. She starred out from her apartment, mesmerized by the sight of her city at the cusp of sundown.

The sidewalks weren’t so busy this time of day, so Mari liked to venture out for evening walks around. Currently, she had a severe case of writer’s block, and a walk was the perfect thing for clearing her mind. She threw on a plain t-shirt and jeans, slid into her sneakers, and headed out her front door, down the stairs to the first floor of her apartment building, then she was outside.

The thick summer breeze hit her face immediately. Mari shut her eyes in sweet bliss for a moment before making her way down the sidewalk. She expected to see nothing out of the ordinary; the same handful of people, some joggers and some on their way home. Birds flying across and rainbow sky. A normal day.

There was one thing that made her stop in her tracks. A person, someone she’d never seen before. Were they new? Had they been lost? Usually Mari would let these things go and be on her way, but she was held spellbound by the other’s looks. Rich brown skin and hair like a thick cloud. They certainly hadn’t looked Japanese. Could they be from here? Did they speak Japanese?

Against her better judgement, Mari approached them, shoulders back and head held high to hide her timid nature. “Hello. Are you… new here?” Her English was rough. It had been a while since she’d actually needed to speak the language. Hopefully it wasn’t so bad she would scare the stranger off.

Someone give me a thread where Person A works in a haunted house at an amusement park, and meets Person B while on duty. Person B got separated from their group (who drug them into the haunted house against their will) and is running blind, trying to get out. Person A finds them, and goes in to do their job, but sees just how scared Person B is. And Person A is just like ‘oh my god you’re literally about to pass out’ and takes off their mask and stuff and helps get them out. Later on they go hang out in the park, Person A helping Person B avoid all the scare zones.
