提灯 / CHOCHIN
The other day I posted a mood track called IKE. I will also introduce track from YABUN album this time. The title is chochin in Japanese, lanterns in English. This track was created because I lived near Arashiyama in Kyoto. There was a bamboo forest, and I liked to take a walk on the path there. Of course at the time of twilight. It is crowded with tourists in the daytime, but it is scary wrapping the mood of darkness at night.I wandered around there one day. And in the silence, I created a lighting object. It is a lantern. And the next moment I imagined a lantern parade. The ghosts of lanterns has been told in Japan for a long time, I decided in the bamboo forest of the night to create their soundtrack.
The season was summer. I wanted to create a sound that imaged wet Japanese light. It is an image of Japanese emitting light insect called HOTARU / 蛍. The image of the tone is wet fluorescent yellow. Then I tried to create a mood that makes the lanterns shake a lot by a method like glitch music. This track fits very well in summer nights in Japan. I want you to listen to the sound of insects, listen in the beautiful Japanese darkness. I heard this in bamboo forest. There is a very mood, I'm glad if the lantern ghost is also pleased. Of course you also a fan of meitei's blog!
There are many beautiful moods in Japan, I select Japanese darkness and focus on sound. And in this way I will present it in the field called Kwaidan. Sometimes it is scary and beautiful, a mood like Japanese aesthetics. So I will also express kwaidan with various visions. This time it is a tight and chill kwaidan track of electro mood.
For you who loves the mood of Japan.
See you next time.
