Favourite Series Episode: Trading Chips

As I say, I like most all of the episodes, but offhand I'd have to say this one sticks out, since it touches upon the idea I like to throw around about Baymax having an emotion chip. Minimax is built with them to a degree, so when he and Baymax swap bodies, it makes for an interesting dynamic.

Trading Chips

NBB's arc returns with Crushroom. But we get sidetracked with Mochi not wanting to go to the vet so they have to chase him.

It seems like Baymax has learned to abide by street laws

They chase him to this seemingly abandoned warehouse which apparently still has working air conditioning...

Mochi gets trapped in a vent and they need someone small. From here, Baymax and Minimax switch chips therefore personalities. I don’t think I like that logic but it’s the episode. It’s like Hiro doesn’t trust Minimax to save Mochi so he gets Baymax to do it in Minimax’s body, I feel bad for Mini. Very few times has he been useful for the team. (imagine if NBB recruited him 👀) At least the creators are now recognizing it as a problem and bringing it some attention, I think he should be for more than comic relief. He does feel better about himself by the end though.

Is that a Totoro reference I see spray painted on the wall?

I drew the characters into a translator but it doesn’t sound accurate, the closest thing I could come up with was something to do with “elemental” and “pass” so I assume it’s either something to do with Totoro itself or just what they call the alley. If anybody else can figure it out, let me know. I wasn’t able to figure out anything from the one on the left.
