#tragic half

I haven’t posted anything here for a while (because I honestly haven’t drawn or sewed anything in a while I feel so rusty @__@)

I DID doodle some tragic half characters tho and I’ve been thinking about this project again so WHOO!

Doodled the tragic half ladies, mostly as just me trying to give them distinct faces (and learn how to draw more than one face @___@) Also, I think I actually like this design for Ethryn!

Doing some tragic half doodles (because I got to see @erinashleyquinn for all of two seconds on her spring break). Juni and her cousin Yuriel on the Left. Kal and Nomura on the right.

Trying to nail down character designs for Tragic Half (a joint project with my friend Erin!). Juni is a tiny little badass and I love her!

So for my Comic Scene class we’re doing some world building exercises involving research into environment, clothing, types of people, the whole hoorah. SO, I’m using it as an opportunity to do some character sketches with the research I’ve done. Just some basic linework, supposed to be Juniper (edit:key words “supposed to be”, I just noticed her ears are round....).

Okay! So now that I actually have a bit of free time; here are some possibilities for Numora’s design. Some details about Numora are still up in the air (such as if they’re gonna be a a he or a she), but most of the rest is pretty well set. Nomura’s our retired assassin with a bright red scarf, who will wink and smirk and steal your heart. Oldest party member (other than Terragram but that barely counts).

I actually inked this last semester but I was too lazy to go to the service bureau and scan it... Colored version tomorrow!
