I just have to come tell you that I read Trail Markers three weeks ago and I STILL CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. It literally comes to mind every day. It’s so good. Have I been procrastinating on reading The Land of my Father just because I know it will be amazing and I want to take my time with it? Possibly. ❤️

The trek the guys went on in the fic is an actual trekking route that anyone (with a guide ;)) can take! I did it about three years ago now (including the jeep ride at the end for the tired folks haha). The fic came about as a funky mash of processing Things, wanting to remember certain images from the trek sans boring journal, and wanting to give writing smut a shot.
