Trainposting
comrades in arms, drawn to a close together
I'm submitting C.Q. Cumber propaganda. Did you know there are around 81 C.Q. Cumbers in Octo Expansion? Yes, they are all different C.Q. Cumbers, but they are also all the same in the sense that they are heavily implied to be a hivemind! So who better to keep track of a train then a hivemind of 81 little guys?
THERE'S MORE THAN ONE???
@locomotive-idiot Okay but what about this old train advertisement poster?
It’s the advertisement for the cog railway going up the Hochschneeberg, and that winged guy is supposed to be the steam engine(s) they used (and still use) for that. Was originally painted in 1897, and reprinted I guess, the one I took a photo of above is framed and located at the Berggasthof Hochschneeberg (the mountain end destination of the railway).
Related: this reprinted poster showing the same engine (but more closely depicted to its actual appearance) is the one I took home from my visit and it is currently chilling on my kitchen wall.
What is your least favorite train? Is there any train you look at and loathe, like, "oh, god, not that one again"?
my least favorite is any Monorail or Maglev, they are scams and are a disgrace to Trains
im so glad Los Angeles has decided to go with an Automatic Subway instead of a stupid Monorail for the Sepulvita line, its the most important Transit project west of the Mississippi and Automatic Subway will be able to deliver a 20 minute end to end travel time between the Valley and UCLA
goin for a swim brb
