Brainworms made me make cover art for The Dragon Tamer an incredible fanfiction by traincat.

In the authors notes they mentioned it belonging into the bodice ripper category and that didn't leave my brain so here you have it. Make sure to check it out!

So full disclosure I haven't drawn a person in like 13 years. The last time probably being in art class. And I wanted to create something and challenge myself. So, even though I don't think anyone is gonna really see or read this but if you do, let it be encouragement.

It's not perfect but I made it myself and i honestly don't have any practice in the area so I feel like most anyone can do that, you do not need ai to give shape to your ideas.

So if the brainworms ever plague you, try to put them on paper (or I guess on twenty layers in ibis paint, getting very confused in the middle of it). Or comission one of the thousands of hardworking artist out there to make your head cannons into reality.

Responding to your tags but omg do not start DMBJ with Adventure Behind the Bronze Door, because it’s like starting a very complicated comics run in the middle. Start with Reunion: The Sound of Providence. Same actor plays the second fella with the same whimsy. (They swap actors for the characters in this series on the reg so the first guy is played by someone else but they both have The Chemistry.)
