do u have any headcanons abt any of the pokemon protags and rivals?
I got this ask a while ago but So many I have so many headcanons of these little guys bouncing around my skull but here's some for the Kanto and Jhoto kids to start until my brain decides to whack me with the urge to draw the rest of these guys :p

What better way to seize this day than bringing back the Trainer Krys team series! This time, with their Pokémon caught in Alola!

No specific oc mentioned means dealer’s choice! I spun the wheel and it landed on… Trainer Krys!

13. What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?
Krys thinks they looked best in their Hisui and Kalos outfits, meaning dark blues! True, it really does look great, and contrasts with their light, warm toned hair, I think that the dark red prominent in their Hoenn outfit suited them best. Darker colors in general seem to fit them better than lighter tones, but I think red really does wonders for them!
21. Why do they get up in the morning?
For the thrill of adventure, for learning new things every day, for bonding with the natural world and all its inhabitants! Krys, as an astute academic, wishes only to seek out knowledge on the world, learn about Pokémon, and study the intricacies of nature itself. The best way to do that, they’ve determined, is to go out and experience the world firsthand! Krys is a Pokémon trainer not for the battles and leagues, but to learn and grow alongside their friends.
27. What causes them to feel dread?
Given that as a trainer, one expects to battle(and with it, comes the chance to lose), Krys doesn’t feel that losing is all that dampening. However, should their Pokémon really and truly be hurt, that’s when things wrack their brain. Krys can’t help themself but blame themself for their miscalculations, often having to force themself with all their effort to keep from spiraling. Their Pokémon mean the world to them, and having any of them seriously hurt just makes them feel like they’ve failed as both a trainer and a friend.

C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?
Not really, they just fill the role as the player character. Don’t really have much to say on that lmao, but it is fun to discern their relationships with their Pokémon, and with already canon characters.
D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?
Krys changes their outfit each region, and starting with Kalos, cut their hair short. Of course, it’s been growing out, and they plan to keep growing it this time, but have it different from the style they had as a teenager. They are also transitioning to achieve a more traditionally masculine look, growing a beard and getting top surgery and all that jazz. Krys is a person who ages and grows throughout their journey, it’s only natural that they’d change dramatically from when they started!
H) What trait do you admire most?
Their wealth of knowledge, and the fact that they aren’t egotistical with how much they know and learn. Krys values learning new things almost above all else, and expresses great joy when they have a chance to exchange that knowledge, or to teach others what they know. Needless to say, when they got the assistant teacher job in Paldea, you can imagine how ecstatic they were!
