Sure, when the Oracle of Delphi got high as fuck and muttered gibberish, she was receiving messages and visions from the gods. Me, I get told to lay off the drugs because I'm freaking everyone out. 😑

"Why does the huntress wish to visit the druid? Does she wish to come bearing an olive branch or brandishing fire and sword? The druid knows not, nor does he blame her for either."
Eoin shook his head tiredly, clearly on the tail end of a trance.

What are some ways to enter trance states for witchcraft and contacting deities?
There are many ways. You can utilize incense, ritual music, dancing, drugs, and breath work.
A simple way to achieve a light trance is breath work, similar to pranayama in yogic techniques. Breath in and out while focusing on each breath’s flow, from one nostril and out the other while slowly counting from 100 to 0. You can also experiment with binaural beats.
The Nordic shamans would practice something called Seidr, so you may look into that and listen to Nordic shaman music as well, as that may help further.
TRANCES (1981). Moroccan music is the star.
