GUYS HELP ME I haven't been able to get this scene out of my head for 3 days I need someone to look at this and maybe see it be drawn or something
I saw this on the theoi project website on one of Artemis' mythology pages:
The idea of Aphrodite dancing with Hebe, Harmonia, The Kharites, and The Horai all holding their wrists in their hands together having fun dancing to a song that Artemis sings and Apollon plays on the lyre as Ares and Hermes seem to be watching or chilling out...I just cannot get this out of my head.
☆♡ The Gods love to sing, dance, hang out, and have fun too ♡☆
Casual connection : Apollo
: It's a common occurrence for me to struggle with connecting to my Deities--especially in ways that truly build kharis, so here's some simple ways to connect with your Deity that you can do every day!
Today is... Lord Apollon
+ . Actions
[Light of music and healing] ~ Learning first-aid or medical information | Seeing as Apollo is the God of healing and plague, this makes sense ~ Making creative work, especially music and drawing | Apollon is one of the main creative Deities, creative work, while good for any Deity, is perfect ~ Watching or reading love stories | Apollo is famous for His myths about His lovers, and I associate love stories (especially tragedies) with Him because of it ~ Learning about prophecy | Apollo is the God of prophecy, and learning about prophecy or practicing prophetic divination is good as a devotional act ~ Learning about famous prophets | Specifically Greek prophet heroes, like Tiresias ~ Using makeup | Apollon is associated with beauty--at least for me--and makeup seems like a nice devotional act ~ Interacting with a creative tool | Such as a pencil, paintbrush, eraser or paint, and more ~ Having moments of pensiveness | If you realize you've been considering the past or future, or even the present, you can devote it to Him
+ . Items
[Light of music and healing] ~ Any creative content | Pretty self-explanatory--He is a creative Deity and will be most happy with any creative work, especially if it's your own ~ Colored objects | Commonly associated with yellow, purple and white, but some UPG I have is silver and green ~ Depictions of hyacinths | Well, for reasons that are somewhat obvious, but for His role in the Myth of Hyacinthus ~ Creative tools | Such as paintbrushes, paints, pottery materials, pencils and even paper ~ Musical instruments | Such as violins, violas, cellos, pianos, trumpets, particularly string instruments and lyres ~ Anything associated with Artemis | Their duality makes Their relationship really tied together, and anything associated with one makes a good offering for the other

: " Khaire Apollon, son of Mighty Zeus and Motherly Leto. You of healing and plague, you of light and sun, you of prophecy and prediction. This post is dedicated to you, God of duality-ridden domain. "
a little letter to my fellow helpols and shifters ♥️
sometimes i feel really lonely, and felt especially so when i didn’t have anyone to spend halloween with. but then i remember i have literal deities in my corner, i have an altar in my room, and doing little devotional acts like praying really helps to feel like i have someone there for me. it’s such a comforting feeling and i want to share it 🫂
helpols, remember the gods love you no matter what, it’s okay to take a break and focus on yourself, they would want you to prioritise self care.
shifters, you’re so powerful, and you deserve all the love in the multiverse. go shift babes, have fun, live your lives to the fullest, do what makes you happy.
so if ever anyone feels a little lonely, i’m always so excited to make new shifting friends on here. so dm me, comment, send an ask, idm.
love, kaede
Artemis would shoot ICE agents for how much they disrespect everything her father stands for.
I've seen other people post about this, but please remember not to blame the gods for the less than savory results of this election. Instead go to them for comfort and solace, and I'm sure they will have our backs during this trying time. I felt their presence with me alot today. May the gods be with you! 💙
Praise Ares; God of manhood and masculinity, of conflict and rebellion, of strength and courage.
Praise Ares, God of all who cower, God of the oppressed and God of the ups and downs of life.
Praise Ares, father, son, and lover. Kind, loving Ares, blood-soaked and no less important for it.
I have been thinking recently of the various facets of Ares. He is so much more than a God who fights; he is who teaches us to set our armor aside and dance, he who teaches us that the most masculine thing one can do is not just to cause harm, but to love fiercely; to protect, to nurture. What is more masculine than love, especially to love so strongly that one would fight for it? To love a person, to love an ideal, to love a belief so dearly that it becomes your guiding star as you move through the conflicts and anger and hardships of life? I don't see much love for Ares as the God of cowards, either. God of all who flee, God of those who are scared to fight... and God of courage, of fighting while scared. Ares is not a God who has no fear; he delights in it. He dances with it. He tells us that fear is how we live, that fear and love and anger and joy and conflict and peace -- all of these are beautifully, beautifully human. It is proof we are alive.
Praise Ares.
I have a huge problem. You see I have been worshiping the greek gods for a while now, but sudently for some reason it started to seem wrong to worship the theoi since I am not greek. Cuz paganism is also about the traditions and ancestry so I feel like I should be worshiping the slavic ones since I am slavic. I have been wondering about this for months now and it coused me to not being so active in my worship as I used to be. Any thoughs? or am I stressing out over nothing?
