akuma villain power that’s just “trans your gender”

Marinette and adrien get hit by the Gender Beam, and of course, look the same. But they don’t feel the same. So their hero transformations look different for the episode!! Ladybug has a binder and cropped hair and a more masculine suit design. Chat Noire gets some high heeled boots just for fun (he’s always wanted to try them), with a more feminizing outfit and longer hair. 

and at the end of the episode Ladybugs just “damn it was fun being a boy today! ok im gonna go back to my pink jeans i miss them goodbye chat noir” and leaves and Chat Noir is just “yknow what bein a girl aint that bad” and comes out as genderfluid next patrol.

YES. ok so i had some thoughts. I was thinking about chloes fashion, and I was like. Well. Shes sort of outrageous. but classy. I decided to lean into the outrageous thing. And then I thought a bit. You know who I think perfectly encapsulates chloe's kind of masculinity?

god they’re SO supportive of each other. 

They meet at pride when they’re like 13. Totally hit it off, exchanging numbers and becoming online friends.

they see each other on their first day at their new school and they’re both PUMPED

adrien makes a lot of trans puns with her and she thinks they’re awful but also hilarious 

when they’re still young and insecure, they get matching dysphoria hoodies just for the meme

They love going shopping together and buying clothes. Adriens extensive allowance allows them to go ham. Adrien’s father is normally pretty strict on what he’s allowed to use his money on, but Gabriel’s really happy Adrien’s finally becoming interested in fashion (Adrien hated fashion before he came out because he didn’t feel comfortable being dressed in feminine clothes). He donates all his old clothes to Alya and her younger sisters. Whenever Alya has something that doesn’t fit her right, Adrien can get it tailored

Alya’s dad was super happy when Alya was born because he had a son he could do guy stuff with. Turns out baby Alya hated doing guy things and was much happier playing with dolls and action figures and watching sailor moon (although Nora LOVED doing guy things, and was super sporty). When she came out, he was completely unsurprised. Otis and Alya grew way closer after that, and now she gets to joke about being the favorite.

Alya and Adrien support each other through the highs and lows, sometimes having dysphoria induced talks on the phone at 3am. 

Through the divine timing of the universe, they get to go on hrt at around the same time. Cue them doing a lot of their progress updates together (and its adorable)

I was thinking of trans Adrien, both trans! ftm and mtf Adrien, with a dash of Adrien x Nino x Alya because just, the vibes of introducing your significant other to your family to has had a bad home life and that family immediately adopting them but it’s Nino’s beautiful Muslim Arab and Alya’s stunning French Martinique family who are both ginormous and Adrien goes from boy with no family to boy with BIGGEST FAMILY?!! Also, trans girl Adrien with long hair in this situation. Long, beautiful blonde locks going down to like say her knees or something, and everyone is like “*she’s Rapunzel*”. JUST ADRIEN WITH PRETTY LONG HAIR IS ALL IM THINKING ABOUT.

I decided on her name being Angel! She wanted to keep her initials but didnt want something too close to her birth name. Anyway i ADORE THIS they all deserve so much love

So it’s projection time: agender afab guy adrien who doesn’t conceptualize his gender in terms of the binary, who wants to be perceived as male but also presents his gender whichever way he wants. Masc one day, fem one day, masc and fem in one outfit, androgynous, because it’s all fake. And he wears his binder sometimes but sometimes not! He hasn’t gone on T though he hopes to, and is just happy being trans. And not conforming to cis peoples standards. Truscum’s nightmare haha.
