Declan has a certain amount of respect for back alley surgery, but he's not about to go in for back alley dream surgery with his reckless dumbass of a little brother holding the metaphorical scalpel

i absolutely believe the panic attack thing though, Declan went out of his way to research and acquire the safest binders available and then proceeded to completely ignore the guidelines/regulations for use because He Is Used To Suffering and just powers through all kinds of physical warning signs

i've seen a few fics with trans!Declan and i've decided i'm down for that hc but it's also objectively really funny cuz it characterizes Niall as, like, "i can excuse emotional neglect and child endangerment, but i draw the line at misgendering"
