Hi, I love this blog and this idea a lot! Could I get some trans Kenma hcs, please? Thank you :)
Trans!Kenma
The first person Kenma came out to was Kuroo, if you would call it coming out. I see things more as Kenma asking Kuroo questions about how he feels.
Kenma’s parents are super accepting when he comes out them. There’s a little bit of learning curve with switching pronouns and stuff. But, they really do try hard as they can.
Gets really excited for games that have Trans characters or who let you make Trans Characters.
When they were kids I imagine Kenma stole Kuroo’s clothes because he liked them better. He stills steals Kuroo’s hoodies because they are peak comfortable. Oversized but totally broken in.
The Nekoma Team took Kenma on with open arms because he’s just one of the guys. If anyone was going to say something about it...well Nekomata and Naoi will have A Lot to Say.

Ok guys, you know how Kenma is sometimes (even in official art) portrayed as a white cat with orange and black dots
Well, that kinda coloring is called calico. Here’s a pic of a wonderful calico from Wikipedia ~
Similar, yeah? Well here’s the thing: calico coloring only occurs in cats with two X chromosomes, as the orange color is X-chromosome linked. (Basically, a calico cat’s one X chromosome codes for orange and the other for black fur. Each cell then expresses either chromosome by a process called x-linked inactivation, leading to the spotty coat. The white color is coded by a gene in a different chromosome. Check it out on Wikipedia or something if you’re interested.)
This leaves two options: a calico cat is either an XX female or a male with a rare XXY mutation called Klinefelter syndrome. Human males with Klinefelter syndrome are often lanky, tall, and have bad coordination, among other traits. Not really how you would describe Kenma, who is short and whose skills as a setter show good coordination ability. This leaves us with him having just the two X chromosomes, so he’s basically canonically a transboy.
So yeah, genetics is cool, thanks for coming to my TED talk.
New goal in life: turn Kenma into a korean pop star.

I need more Trans!Kenma. She’s just so beautiful. I crey. My daughter.
ok but,, the animal usually used to represent kenma is a calico cat right?? (idk i may be wrong but) it is genetically impossible for calico cats to be male. anyways... trans/genderqueen kenma?
I think it’s that they’re rare, rather than impossible. But I’m always for gender headcanons with Kenma in particular personally.
