After an unexpected pregnancy and a nasty breakup with his college boyfriend turn Yuuri's world upside down, he struggles to return to the world of competitive skating.

It’s a feat of bravery Viktor would never have been able to achieve at such a young age. He’s always admired the younger skater for staying true to himself. Now he really needs to get to the Japanese skater and offer up some words of encouragement. He doesn’t think Yuuri realizes how much more work he’s putting in than any of his competitors right now. That deserves some recognition.

The preteen’s face goes scarlet as the Japanese skaters come into view.  Yuuri looks up from trying to balance a cranky Eri in one arm and a steaming thermos of hot water in the other, his glasses fogged and his face glistening with sweat.

“Viktor…?” he asks, his confusion exaggerated by the characteristic squint he has to do to see without his glasses.  God, he never stops being an adorable little mess.

“Who is it you like, Yuratchka?” Viktor teases, throwing a glance back over his shoulder just long enough to see the flames raging in his little brother’s eyes.  Without another word, Yuri snatches up his suitcase and retreats to the stands.

My guy!!!!!! Okay hii I'm the one that you were talking to earlier thru comments on your fic First Time but i came here cause i didn't wanna like scream in the comment section for a rlly long time and make things weird but!!!!!!! Do you have any trans!Yuuri headcanons??? cause again im so in love w your characterization for him and w you being a trans guy it rlly makes so much more sense why everything was on point lol either way youre the best pal B) <33

Oh my god hey!! Thank you so much! I just wanna say again that I am so grateful for your comment and love for my writing! 

And of course I have trans!Yuuri headcanons; so like I said in my fic he came out to his parents when he was 12 but he’s known since he was about ten. In the AU of my fic he actually talked to his sister about how he was feeling first and she sort of introduced him to what being trans is and she helped him work up the courage to come out to his parents. I also like to think that his mom has always kind of know that he was queer but she didn’t really know exactly what was up with his identity. Oh damn I have some many more headcanons I can’t stop! I also think that Yuuri’s insecurities mostly stem from the fear and anxiety he feels from keeping his transness a secret for the sake of his figure skating career and he’s always worried he’s going to found out in some way and then a whole controversy in the media will start up.
