I keep thinking about Zephyr and Ifrit, ive been talking to a friend ( @uncomfortablyghoul x) about it lol.

After Zeph went crazy (I'm not going into depth, sorry) and they and Ifrit made up, they'd go back to being lovey dovey as they always were. Treating each other as if they were angels, not ghouls from Hell.

Also starting to hc Ifrit as trans masc. I dunno, I've been thinking about the two of them a lot.

I wish “don’t assume someone’s gender” was less “don’t assume anyone’s gender ever” and more “don’t assume you know someone’s gender better then they do.” Like. What’s important is our safety not whether a stranger can gender us correctly at a glance. It’s often far better to see someone making an obvious effort to present themselves a certain way and make an assumption that they want you to gender them accordingly, than to ask them their pronouns/gender. It’s really difficult to be singled out, especially in public and especially in places that are not designated lgbt safe spaces (and honestly even in lgbt safe spaces). What you can do is introduce yourself using your own pronouns (in the appropriate spaces), include them in your email signature, etc. Give us the space to talk about our gender if that’s what we choose, but don’t force us to have those conversations in public/potentially unsafe spaces.

Trans people, no matter their transition status, deserve to be considered desirable. All of them. It doesn’t matter what they decide to persue in terms of medical transitioning, how they present themselves, or whether they pass or not. No one is expecting you to be attracted to all trans people or even all trans people of a particular gender. All that’s being asked is for you to recognize the possibility for attraction or, if you aren’t aren’t attracted to trans people at all, recognize how cissexist contributes to that.

If you want to change your pronouns or get on HRT, then you're probably not cis.
