aster & astra
feminine names paired with masculine pronouns x masculine names paired with feminine pronouns >>>>>>>
i'd given up on multiple names since i've been so happy with chase for over a year, (04.18.21) but i'd like to come back to a couple names that i'd tried on and liked before a while back: aster & astra (but not astro, not for me lmao; i've thought about it)
aster he/she ??? astra he/him ??? YES!!
but NO, this does not mean chase is to be paired with she/her only, following the "evening it all out" logic. please still use she/he interchangably for both chase and aster, although i would prefer you only use he/him with astra because i think that using feminine pronouns alongside a feminine name feels wrong for me and makes my deadname (similar spelling to chase) feel like i didn't make any social transition at all and that it would somehow take away from my butchness. i'd prefer that one never use they/them under any circumstance, but i'll forgive it and wouldn't necessarily call it misgendering unless you're cis, fuck cis people if y'all call me "they" for real idc i'll hate that.
i know this is a lot of info i'm dumping on everyone but i truly believe fellow trans and nonbinary people are going to get it, y'know?? like, even if no one on this hellsite refers to me at all ever (be it directly or indirectly) it's still an important part of many of our identities that we know our preferences for certain regardless, no matter how specific we like it - especially if you're a neurodivergent perfectionist like me.
