A bitsy about that scary question and its complex answer as a queer mentally ill person
A bitsy about that scary question and its complex answer as a queer mentally ill person
CONTENT WARNING: Drug use, mental illness, scary imagery
This is a small bitsy intended to express the reality for many, many people reaching the age where they cant escape the question. With themes of mental illness, gender identity, sexuality, financial struggles, disability, existential dread and trauma.
Dedicated to those who also struggle to express how hard it would be for them to raise a child, and who feel shame because they don't really want to.
Bitsy is a free to use engine made by adam le doux
Let's finish Thirsty Suitors!
Tonight at 7pm ET, my partner and I will (probably) finish streaming Thirsty Suitors! Will we get back together with Tyler? Can we lead a teen rebellion against a cult leader? Will we make things right with our sister? And what's our paati going to do to us when she finds out what we did to all her suitors!???!!?
UPDATED: Fixed hallway glitch so it's playable now :) Note: Please play on PC or laptop! playing on mobile doesn't load any of the art or music! CW: Cursing, talks of depression, creepy music, gender dysphoria, lite horror (nothing visual though, just descriptions). Two Masks is a text adventure/interactive fiction game about a student controlled by the player and has to get ready for their art 1900 class. But unlike the majority of students, the character you play is trans and gender-fluid, which means that everything they do is seen through a lens of gender dysphoria or affirmation, and the two can often be very difficult to discern. This is the first version of the game, so I wouldn't be surprised to find out it's a little janky. That said if you encounter any dead ends, just leave the room you're in and come back or reload the game. The first solution should work in at least 90% of these situations. music by lemon demon & jeff burgess and transcribed by JohnJRenns You can find them here: https://lemondemon.bandcamp.com/ https://justfern.bandcamp.com/ https://twitter.com/JohnJRennsII https://twitter.com/JohnJRenns https://johnjrenns.wordpress.com/
Two Masks
A text adventure about being one month on HRT in the middle of a pandemic. It’s a downer, but I’m really proud of a lot of the writing! Check it out if you like text adventures and trans stuff
Chicken Farmer is a piece of experiential short interactive fiction. There is only one ending. You play as the child of a weaver, on your way to the weekly market. Every week you travel the same way, see the same sights, but there are still things (and people) that pique your interest.
for the past year i’ve been experimenting with interactive fiction in twine and i’ve finally finished and polished one, I’m really proud of it :V
Let's play more Tell Me Why!
Tuesday at 6:30pm ET, my partner and I will play more Tell Me Why, chapter 2. Let's dig up even more family secrets!
