Like when people go "trans men, trans women and nonbinary folk" that doesn't necessarily include everyone, like I personally don't consider myself to be nonbinary (I used to tho) bc nonbinary doesn't encompass the literal lack of a gender for me. Every trans neu is different tho!

i'm multigender, and transneutral is one of my genders. when i found a label, i was excited and thought it fits me! but then i started to hesitate to use it. partially because of my other genders, which made me unsure about if i'm transneutral or not (internalised multigenderphobia + some plurality issues). but partially because transneutrality gained some popularity, and there was immediate backlash under the guise of "not creating gender trinary." i mean, i'm all about being more inclusive to different nonbinary experiences and not equating transneutrality with being nonbinary and nonbinarity with being transneutral. but all these people raging about "gender trinary" was mostly silent about all-consuming binarisation of queer, including trans, spaces. and everything just backtracked to binaristic language and approaches. people didn't start mentioning more nonbinary, agender, genderqueer, etc labels. they just stopped their attempts to include us at all. so like all that backlash made me to dissociate from the label and to stop using it (again, the effects of having a dissociative disorder).

but after some time i rediscovered transneutrality, already in the context of my multigenderness, and now i feel that i can relate to my transneutrality more than ever before, when i know my other genders and don't have to choose between them.

thank you for creating this space for transneutral people, we need visibility and discussions of our experiences, and it's so hard to find them.

That sucks that happened and it's severely annoying that people get upset at the concept of more than two gender types (man, woman, masc fem) but it's so nice that you rediscovered the label and can truly embrace who you are and having multiple genders :3

And altho im not that good at running this blog due to not having any thing to post I'm happy to have the blog anyways so when people do find it they can share their experiences and maybe their own trans neu character headcanons and just stuff like that :)

I've been transmasc, transfemmasc, transandromasc, I think transneumasc too, but recently figuring out I'm just transneutral has been so relieving... everything makes sense now yayyy :3

Fits well with me also being hormonally intersex, 90% agender + 10% male, autigender, and just generally hating being perceived as binary too imo...

You already know I use it/he/shi (mainly it/its) tho, so I won't go in a deep dive of that-

But uhh yeah... I too wish one day us transneutrals weren't treated like chopped liver

We as trans neutrals exist too! We aren't all just nonbinary, some are but some of us aren't and trans neutrals as a whole NEED to be included, it's always been odd too me how it's like this:

Trans Mascs and Trans Fems are talked about.

Trans men and trans women are talked about (sometimes interchanged with trans Mascs and trans Fems when theyre not the same)

You get a little mention of the nonbinary folk, more if it's a nonbinary person themselves.

But no trans neus.

Like we have trans masc, and trans fem bc some trans men and women also use those labels but then nonbinary folk or those who use it bc they don't have another label are kind of screwed bc the world runs on binary genders. Screw the rest of us 💔💔

Scrolling through the tags about trans discourse and trans neutrals are never once talked about. I mean nonbinary folk are (usually as a side piece) but no one ever talks about trans neutrals

My core gender label is agender but I'm not nonbinary so basically in transgender discourse I don't exist as a transneutral
