Transmeds are gross

I’ve seen a lot of transmeds and truscum that have never actually interacted with a tucute. This is super problematic because most of the time they don’t even understand how we perceive gender. Truscum have this rigid idea of gender and anyone who doesn’t fit into their little binary box is a “trender” to them. I actually used to be very transmed a few years ago and now, looking back at it,I was so much angrier back then. I’ve learned to accept myself and my identity as a trans guy and I now love other people and accept their identities too. Mogai genders are completely valid. Nonbinary people are completely valid. Trans people who don’t go on hrt or get surgeries are completely valid. Trans people that do go on hormones or get surgery are valid. You’re valid if you don’t have dysphoria. You’re valid if you do have dysphoria (no matter how little you have). Truscum need to stop attacking us because we’re comfortable expressing and celebrating our identities. It seems like they are so quick to point the finger and blame us for the unnaceptance that trans people face. You’re not the only one who experiences discrimination.  News Flash, transphobes hate us all equally and they see as freaks. Stop throwing your fellow trans folks under the bus so that you can get even the smallest drop of acceptance from transphobes. How does the cis boot taste?

Compliment a tucute day

July the 2nd is compliment a tucute day.

In light of the “harass a transmed day”, I’ve come up with the idea of giving tucutes compliments rather than returning hate. Let’s face it, the discourse is already toxic enough. This day will be an opportunity to make someone happy.

Even if you really hate tucutes, do this day. Seriously, take it as a chance to prove them wrong. Prove how nice you guys can really be.

Some ideas to get you started:

Pronoun validation

Wishing them a nice day

Complimenting them in general (saying they’re nice, cute, smart, etc)

You can go on anon, do it via dms, tag them or just through an ask

Let’s have some fun and spread love, not hate :)

Truscums don’t hate you as a person or whatever and we never will hate you for that reason. The only thing we hate about you is your ideology because it’s harmful.

It’s awfully annoying when tucutes do everything in their power to demonize us just because a few toxic, vile people that get torn to shreds by this community suicide bait or some shit. We don’t condone that type of shit and those type of vile people are thrown out of the community immediately once they show their true selves. Those people shouldn’t represent the community and we’re not all “toxic.” I’m tired of hearing it.

Especially from tucutes who have drawn art of them killing transmeds, wished death upon transmeds openly, made posts telling transmeds to choke/die, steal medical resources from actual trans people, call people slurs when they don’t agree with them, and witch hunt. Tucutes like that are way more toxic than any one of us and it’s fucking disgusting and disheartening to see a tucute who literally has “transmeds drink bleach challenge, cis lives don’t matter” in their blog description.

The only thing transmeds hate about you is your transphobic movement and the fact you’re making our community look like a joke. You’re even fueling that ideology because tucute was coined by a transphobic cis girl who wanted to troll the trans community.

Our ancestors fought for so much, and quite frankly, I don’t want to lose it because tucutes made it all look like a joke.

Why are people putting transmeds on the same level as terfs and pedophiles? Like what did they even do??

Stop expecting trans men to look like cis men or want to look completely cis.

Stop holding trans man up to toxic masculinity standards.

Stop criticising tran men mid or pre transition for not looking man enough in face or body shape.

Stop hating men for not being what you think a man should be.

Trans men are men.

Trans woman are woman.

If you have dysphoria, then you’re trans. If you don’t have dysphoria, then you’re not trans.

You can have dysphoria and not hate yourself. You can still love yourself and have dysphoria. Dysphoria isn’t just hating yourself or your body.

Tucutes need to stop demonizing dysphoria, which is a mental disorder, when they’re the ones fighting for mental illnesses to not be seen as this big bad thing (some of them claim that’s the point of their “movement”). You can’t scream to stop demonizing mental illnesses and disorders when you’re literally doing that; that’s hypocrisy at its absolute finest.

Stop demonizing dysphoria. If you actually wanted to help the community you wouldn’t be doing that. You’d explain what dysphoria is actually and fight for the definition to be changed. If you actually wanted to help the transgender community, you’d stop pretending to be trans and fight so that healthcare plans cover the surgeries instead of just clogging up waiting lists and lying to doctors so they don’t start believing them and causing the cost of surgeries to go up higher. If you actually wanted to help the transgender the community, you wouldn’t be taking their care far out of their reach.

You aren’t helping the transgender community by demonizing dysphoria and saying you don’t need dysphoria to be trans. You’re only hurting it, instead, and if you aren’t here to help the community, then you’re obligated to leave.
