hi I have a very strong belief that Joe isn’t allowed to drive anymore unless there’s no other option due to the fact that he is easily distracted/takes his eyes off the road and I felt like this blog would be a good place to share said idea. A list of possible reasons Joe has crashed a car before: saw a cute dog on the side of the road and turned around to make sure Andy saw the cute dog, saw a funny billboard and wanted to point it out to Booker, it was golden hour and Nicky was illuminated by the sunlight and Joe had to take the time to wax poetic about the love of his life, he was in an argument with Nile about art and started rummaging around for one of his sketchbooks in the center console while on a winding mountain road. Andy’s convinced he does it on purpose to get out of taking shifts on long road trips.

I absolutely could not agree more.

Joe has been living in the self-driving car era since the 1800s. This man regularly tries to steer with his knees and has only ever touched a turn signal by accident. They rented an RV once and he straight up left the driver’s seat cause his pizza pockets were ready.

You and Roger meet at a party where you end up making out in a corner and you don't think you'd see each other again.

The following week, you do see each other again - namely as you start your new job as a drum tech for a certain band called Queen. You didn't get each other's names at the party, so you're both confused that the other is here too.

You awkwardly stand opposite one another and Roger lights a cigarette, murmuring, "I'm not even sure why you're here…"

"Don't worry, I don't know why you're here either…"

"No seriously, what are you doing here?"

"Um… I'm the new drum tech for Roger Taylor."

There's a long pause and you assume he just heard it but didn't bother to reply until his head turns to you. "That's me."

You know it's going to be hard to stay professional. Three days ago, you were making out with him and now you are working for him. You try to come up with something to break the ice a bit and start over to be able to establish a semi-professional relationship. "Roger? Would you maybe like to grab a coffee with me later and chat? But this time without kissing."

"Not yet, at least," Roger grins. "But yeah, sure."

Listed for small devotional acts for Hephaestus you included “Stand by those who don’t identify by the binary genders (transgender, nonbinary, genderfluid, etc.)” And I was just kind of curious if there’s a specific connection between him and trans/nb/gnc folks or if the suggestion stems from his tendency to look after minorities or those who may be mistreated by society? I *feel* like there was an additional reason that inspired that line, but going back and checking my usual sources I wasn’t able to find anything. I made that post over three years ago so whatever inspired it has apparently slipped my mind!

It may well be that it stemmed from the tendencies you mentioned, but I do feel there was something else. If anyone has anything to add I’d appreciate it, I may just be missing something!

a few days late but for fave TOG scenes, I gotta give a shout-out to Andy trying to wake Booker up after he got hit with the grenade. The pure chaotic sibling energy and the desperation in Andy’s voice get me every time. I also just love Booker’s nonchalant convo with Nile like “it’s not always like this” and Nile is having none of it

I think about “you’re still in this shitty game with me” 2 to 3 times a week.
